Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision for the New Demerara River Bridge (Nandy Park to La Grange)

Overview

The Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) invites eligible Consultancy Firms to submit Proposals for Construction Supervision for the Construction of the New Demerara River Bridge (Nandy Park to La Grange).

Description

The main objective of this Consultancy is for the Consultant to assist the MoPW in the design review, construction supervision and general project management of the Construction of the New Demerara River Bridge and Contract administration throughout the project implementation process and thereafter during the defects liability period.

The estimated duration of the project is 24 calendar months from the date of Contract signing and at least 12 months thereafter for defects liability from a date to be determined.

Consultants will be selected in accordance with the policies and procedures set out by the National Procurement Act (2003). The Standard Request for Proposal document can be found on the Ministry’s website (https://mopw.gov.gy/) under the Procurement Tab from February 1, 2022.

Interested consultants may:

1. Submit a letter of intent to bid by writing to Address 1 or the associated email address below.
2. Obtain further information by writing to Address 1 or the associated email address below from February 1, 2022. Any clarification of the RFP will be communicated simultaneously in writing to all interested bidders at the latest 7 calendar days before the deadline for submitting bids.

Additional Details

Bidders are required to submit a combined Technical and Financial Proposal which must be delivered to the Tender Box at Address 2 below before 09:00 hrs. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
