Tender Notice: Construction of the Bartica-St. Mary’s Road

Project Overview

The Bartica-St. Mary’s Road project involves constructing a high-standard roadway that will connect Bartica to St. Mary’s, providing reliable year-round access. The scope of work includes:

  • Road Construction: Approximately 15 kilometers of new road to be built using durable, all-weather materials suitable for the local terrain and climate.
  • Drainage and Erosion Control: Installation of a comprehensive drainage system to mitigate flooding risks, with erosion control measures to protect against soil degradation.
  • Bridge and Culvert Installation: Construction of new bridges and culverts along the route to facilitate uninterrupted access and support for heavy vehicle loads.
  • Safety Features: Implementation of road markings, signage, and barriers to ensure safe travel for all road users.
