Youth unemployment takes center stage at Presidential meeting

During a meeting held with young people in Region 10, youth unemployment took the center stage.
 
President H.E Dr. Irfaan Ali while addressing concerns noted that 20,000 online scholarships will be provided to boost the chances of young people becoming employed.
 
Minister of Public Works Hon. Bishop Juan Edghill opened the floor for suggestions to tackle the issue when it was opined that more businesses need to be opened.
 
Additionally, the President urged the youths present to become employers and not settle at the employee stage.
 
At this point, it was suggested that startup funds be made available to kick start small business.
