DEMERARA RIVER
The Maritime Administration Department wishes to advise that Ship to Ship (STS) transfer activities will be conducted by Esso Exploration &Production Guyana Ltd (EEPGL) within the Liza Phase 2 Field, within the Stabroek Block of the Guyana Maritime Zone commencing on July 17, 2020.
This exercise is scheduled to conclude on August 17, 2020, and will incorporate Pipe Laying Vessel Saipem FDS2 and AHT GH Navigator accompanying DB JMC 2508 which will display the international signal or vessels engaged in such activities.
The field is approximately 102 nautical miles from the Coast of Guyana and covers an area of 14 square kilometer, bounded by the following coordinates:

All mariners are required to maintain a wide berth of these vessels, and navigate with caution when in the vicinity.
